I won’t comment on the abortion issues, just the pain of miscarriage and the shock of learning how often it occurs AFTER the fact. I wrote a magazine piece about losing a baby on Christmas Eve many years ago. I will never forget watching families in the maternity ward receiving their newborns snuggled down into Santa hats while I was grieving the loss of my baby.
